  • ALL* SkillsUSA GAPS competitors are required to take the 2025 SkillsUSA Professional Development Test

2. ALL COMPETITORS:

• IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE A COMPETITION SPECIFIC TEST​​
  • only SOME Contests require a competition specific test. (Test questions will relate to your contest industry).

• IF YOU ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE A CONTEST SPECIFIC TEST, ask your advisor to see your National Technical Standards and review the Competencies and Standards
• Alternates are not allowed to test, you must be registered as a competitor to test

 

3. ALL COMPETITORS*:

• CONTACT YOUR PROCTOR - see proctor list below to locate your proctor contact information
• MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO TAKE YOUR TEST(S) as soon as possible during the testing window

5. TEST YOUR DEVICE FOR COMPATABILITY:

• NOCTI provides a demo test feature, available on the test center login page: https://testing.nocti.org/
• To access the demo test, click the button labeled: “Try the Testing System”. Login credentials are not required for this demo test. The nine-question demo test allows you to experience the navigation tools available within the system.
• Additionally, proctors and competitors can select “Get Device Ready for Testing” to run a system compatibility check at their convenience before conducting a test proctor session.
