SkillsUSA Highlighted at Governor’s Workforce Summit

Our SkillsUSA Georgia Presidents attended the Governor’s Workforce Summit on September 12, 2024 to speak on how SkillsUSA creates a talent pipeline aligning industry and education partnerships to prepare students for Georgia’s high demand careers. Corina Stewart, SkillsUSA Georgia Postsecondary State President from Savannah Technical College, and Shakshi Bhimani, SkillsUSA Georgia Secondary State President from Cambridge High School, shared their personal journeys and addressed industry and education leaders about the importance of SkillsUSA in closing the skills gap.
